Hell yeah!

I’m really proud to be back at the Blood in the Snow Film Festival (Toronto, Canada) a few years after our special screening of Thanatomorphose in 2013 where Kayden Rose won the best actress award and David Scherer & Rémy Couture won best special effects.

This year we are back with the animated music video THE FOREST for my band The SerVant!

The Forest is part of the A SERIES OF WEB BITES – WEB SERIES (87 mins) program that will air on Sunday, November 1st at 7:00 pm (repeats at 2:00 am).

This is a feature length program of highlights of the best Canadian horror and sci-fi digital programming.

Je suis très fier d’annoncer la sélection du vidéoclip The Forest dans le volet Panorama Canadien du Festival international d’animation d’Ottawa.

Le clip réalisé pour le groupe rock The SerVant met en image l’univers cinématographique de la chanson donnant vie à un bestiaire fantastique à l’aide de la célèbre technique de l’animation de silhouettes.

ANIMATION FANTASTIQUE POUR LE LANCEMENT DU PREMIER EP DE THE SERVANT 

Montréal, 20 janvier 2020 – ThanatoFilms est fier d’annoncer le lancement en ligne du premier vidéoclip du groupe rock garage québécois The SerVant : THE FOREST.

The Forest est tiré du EP homonyme de The SerVant qui sera lancé le samedi 8 février à la Station Ho.st (1494 rue Ontario Est) à Montréal.

Réalisé par le cinéaste québécois Éric Falardeau, le clip met en image l’univers cinématographique du groupe en mélangeant animation de silhouettes et imagerie tirée du bestiaire du genre fantastique.

Baissez les lumières et montez le son. Vous pouvez maintenant visionner le clip sur tous vos écrans.

SILHOUETTE ANIMATION FOR THE RELEASE OF THE FIRST EP BY THE SERVANT

 Montreal, January 20th, 2020 – ThanatoFilms proudly presents the mainstream release of THE FOREST, first music video by Montreal-based garage rock band THE SERVANT.

The Forest is the single for the The SerVant eponymous EP that will be released at the Station Ho.st (1494 rue Ontario Est, Montreal) on February 8th at 5pm.

Directed by award-winning horror filmmaker Éric Falardeau, the video pays tribute to the cinematic universe of the band by mixing silhouettes stop motion animation and visuals referring to horror cinema.

Dim the lights and turn it up. You can now stream the video on all your screens.
