Éric Falardeau a réalisé plusieurs courts métrages, des vidéoclips, un moyen métrage et le long métrage culte Thanatomorphose (2012) qui a remporté une quinzaine de prix dans les festivals internationaux. Il a été commissaire de l’exposition permanente Secrets et illusions, la magie des effets spéciaux présentée à la Cinémathèque québécoise (2013-17). Il a écrit Bleu nuit, histoire d’une cinéphilie nocturne (avec Simon Laperrière, Somme Toute, 2014), Une histoire des effets spéciaux au Québec (Somme Toute, 2017) et Le corps souillé : gore, porno et fluides corporels (L’Instant même, 2019). Il est l’un de membres du groupe rock montréalais The SerVant. Il prépare son deuxième long métrage.

Éric Falardeau is a writer and filmmaker. He wrote and directed many short films, music video, the cult horror feature Thanatomorphose (2012), which has won him several awards in international film festivals, and the Adult Time pornographic-horror movie The Thing from the Lake (2019). He was the guest curator of the exhibition Secrets et illusions, la magie des effets spéciaux at the Cinémathèque québécoise (2013-17). He is the author of Une histoire des effets spéciaux au Québec (2017) and Le corps souillé : Gore, pornographie et fluides corporels (2019). He is a member of the Montreal-based rock band The SerVant. He is currently working on his second feature film.
