Animée par la professeure titulaire au département de sexologie de l’UQAM, Julie Lavigne, une discussion avec Éric Falardeau et Bruce LaBruce sur l’érotisme et la pornographie dans une perspective d’auteur. Dans leurs œuvres, la représentation frontale de la sexualité est-elle un geste politique? Esthétique? Ludique?
Hosted by Professor Julie Lavigne from the sexology department at UQAM, Éric Falardeau and Bruce LaBruce will discuss eroticism and pornography from an auteur perspective. Is the explicit representation of sex in their work a political gesture? Aesthetic? Or playful?
En collaboration avec la Cinémathèque québécoise
Le rétrospective Bruce LaBruce qui sera présentée du 27 septembre au 26 octobre 2022 à la Cinémathèque québécoise en collaboration avec le Festival du nouveau cinéma – FNC réserve quelques surprises.
Parmi celles-ci, une discussion entre l’iconoclaste auteur et la punaise de lit du cinéma québécois qui sera précédée d’une chaude projection le 12 octobre 2022. Après Berlin, Anvers, et d’autres villes européennes, ce sera enfin l’occasion de voir en salle mon moyen métrage The Thing From The Lake réalisé pour Adult Time (format DCP), en programme double avec un court métrage de LaBruce tourné pour Le studio d’Erika Lust.
C’est à ne pas manquer !
